By integrating key EU values such as inclusivity, equality, and sustainability, alongside specific Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) like quality education, gender equality, and climate action, IEC aims to foster a more inclusive and resilient society. The organization utilizes diverse methods including non-formal education, experiential learning, sport, and art to achieve its mission.
Who we serve
The organization primarily serves young people, especially from migrant communities in Austria, aiming to foster connections between local and international or migrant communities to promote social inclusion, integrity, and equal opportunities.
It places a special emphasis on empowering women and girls by focusing on gender equality, leadership skills, and healthy lifestyles.
IEC also addresses individuals facing limited opportunities due to social and geographical challenges, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support for personal development and community integration. The organization gives special attention to engaging NEETs, unemployed youth, and those from rural areas with fewer opportunities.
