As part of the Football as a Seed for Gender Equality project, IEC Austria contributed to increasing women's active participation in sports and breaking down gender stereotypes, concluding that there are no male or female sports. Everyone should feel free to follow their aspirations, liberated from conditioning. To achieve the project's objectives, IEC Austria organized a sports competition involving 12 mixed-gender and mixed-nationality football teams.
