CO-ADAPT

CO-ADAPT- Community-based Climate Adaptation and Biodiversity through small-scale Nature-Based Solutions is a project that aims to empower urban communities to adapt to the climate and biodiversity crises through Nature-Based Solutions (NBS). The project will achieve this by raising awareness, providing education and training on NBS, and promoting active civic participation to collaboratively implement small-scale NBS in urban areas.

Cities across Europe are warming, losing biodiversity, and facing the impacts of climate change — but solutions are growing right in our neighborhoods.

Co-ADAPT brings communities together in Berlin, Vienna, Ankara, and Košice to design and implement small-scale Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) that make our cities greener, cooler, and more resilient. Through living labs, creative workshops, DIY NBS kits, learning tours, and co-creation processes, adults, youth, civil society groups, and local authorities will explore how nature can help us adapt, connect, and thrive.
