The project Do Care aims to address the lack of specific protocols concerning first aid and secondary care for people with disabilities, and providing the first step to a concrete solution. The project addresses the inclusion of people with disabilities in sports by supporting their need to stay safe and healthy during sports activities.
Results and resources:
This guidebook aims to provide guidance on best practices for providing first aid to individuals with disabilities. It is designed to help individuals, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to provide appropriate first aid in a safe and effective manner. In a collaborative effort with the consortium, the Innovative Education Center (IEC) has crafted and spearheaded the development of this handbook.
