Mountains and climate change: adapting for a sustainable future
Call for Participants: Youth Exchange "Mountains and Climate Change" in Italy
Innovative Education is thrilled to announce an exciting new Erasmus+ opportunity! We are currently looking for 6 motivated individuals residing in Austria to represent our organization in an international Youth Exchange in the beautiful Ligurian Alps of Italy.
About the Project
"Mountains and Climate Change: Adapting for a Sustainable Future" brings together young people from Italy, Croatia, Spain, Poland, Ireland, and Austria. Hosted in the peaceful, rural village of Prea, this project uses non-formal education and outdoor activities to explore the impact of climate change on mountain regions and discover sustainable community practices.
Participants will engage in nature-based learning, strengthen their intercultural awareness, and even help create a public exhibition on climate change.
The Experience
-
Venue: You will stay at the Casa Vacanze di Prea, with access to a nearby swimmable river for breaks.
-
Mountain Adventure: The highlight of the trip includes hiking to the Rifugio Garelli at 2000 meters altitude, where the group will spend one unforgettable night surrounded by breathtaking alpine views.
-
Culture: Get ready for an Intercultural Night to share Austrian traditions and learn from the other international groups.
