We’re conducting interviews with climbing instructors, professional climbers, and non-professional athletes to gather diverse perspectives on diversity and inclusiveness within the climbing sphere. These discussions, lasting 30 to 45 minutes, can be online or in-person, tailored to your convenience. If you’re keen on sharing your experiences or know someone who might be, we encourage you to participate. Timeline for Participation: May 1, 2024 - May 15, 2024 Special Opportunity: Join Our Mobility Event in Athens Beyond interviews, we’re also seeking a climbing instructor to join us at a mobility event in Athens, Greece, from July 15-19, 2024. This event is a fantastic opportunity for skill-sharing, learning, and collaboration among partners focused on inclusivity in climbing. Selected participants will be part of a dynamic team, with travel expenses and a daily allowance of 150€ for accommodation and meals provided during the 4-day period. This initiative is part of our efforts aimed at: • Facilitating knowledge exchange on climbing techniques. • Raising awareness about diversity issues within the sport. • Providing training for climbing instructors on fostering inclusivity. • Advocating for a more inclusive and diverse climbing community. Innovative Education Center represented by Ms Pelin Ozturk recently participated in a two-day conference organized by Cross Culture International Foundation (CCIF Malta). The event, funded by the European Union through the Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values programme, centered around the impactful project titled "From Here We Rise."
